We are committed to unearthing the most sustainable fibres, whilst remaining true to premium quality.

SUSTAINABLE VISCOSE

Our signature, sustainable EcoCosy® fabric is sourced from ‘Sateri’, a global leader in viscose fibre. Made from high quality wood cellulose via renewable and sustainably managed plantations, the viscose is natural, biodegradable, compostable and environmentally friendly.

Our signature viscose is a lightweight material with a beautiful drape, a lustrous finish, and a soft feel. Featuring the following characteristics, the fabric is delicate and comfy, a perfect choice for babies.

  • Lightweight and breathable
  • Soft 'buttery' feel
  • Absorbent, but does not trap heat
  • High quality fabric that holds the colours after long term use

RECYCLED POLYESTER

Our Messy Bibs are made from 100% recycled polyester, certified through the Global Recycle Standard (GRS) as well as the OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Made from post-consumer recycled plastic, our bibs have environmental benefits and a smaller carbon footprint, whilst maintaining the quick-drying, lightweight, high-performance functionality, strength, and durability of virgin polyester.

SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING

Here at KYND Baby, we are committed to a holistic approach. We are working towards the Australian Government's 2025 goal for all packaging to be reusable, recyclable, or compostable. KYND Baby is proud to announce the following:

  • Garment labels are 100% cotton, and free from synthetics and polymers.
  • The inks in our labels and tags are vegetable-based soy inks.
  • Cotton material and print-process are certified OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (Class I).
  • Garment tags are made from 100% recycled paper and can be recycled.
  • Our individual garment bags and postage satchels are 100% compostable.
  • The adorable hangers that come with apparel purchases are made from 100% recycled paper and are FSC certified.

 

We encourage you to share the sustainability journey with us, and reuse or recycle our products and packaging. We hope that you are able to give our postage satchels a second life by using them for another delivery. If you have a compost garden in your backyard, you can dispose of it there, or otherwise check in with your local council to see what composting options they have available.
